Laboratory & Pharmacy Development in Derry North Ireland
This was an £18m development to design, build, finance and maintain a Laboratory and Pharmacy Service Centre for Altnagelvin Hospitals Trust.
The development was badly needed by the hospital, a major acute hospital, as for many years their scientists and pharmacists, and support staff, had worked in cramped out of date accommodation.
The new Centre provided five separate specialist laboratory areas, along with a new pharmacy department which incorporated special cancer drug dispensing facilities.
Construction was completed three months ahead of schedule, and the facility has been operational for more than twelve years. We continue to have an excellent relationship with the Hospital Trust.
Oxted Therapies, Nursing Home and Housing Development
This healthcare project in Oxted, Surrey was a £3m re-development of the Oxted and Limpsfield Hospital site in Surrey where we created a new Therapies Unit for the healthcare trust, and joint ventured to build twenty new build 4 & 5 bedroom detached houses, as well as a new 50 Bed nursing home for Barchester Healthcare
Castle Hill, Hull Oncology and Haematology Development
A £65m project to design, build, finance and maintain an Oncology and Haematology Development at the Hull Castle Hill Hospital site. This development, which is now known as the Queen’s Centre for Oncology and Haematology, was essential for the future provision of services for patients with cancer from a huge catchment area encompassing Scunthorpe and Grimsby in the south to Scarborough in the north.
